12-14 days out depending what I look like I will drop carbs out of my last big meal, my dinner and I will keep my bedtime snack, usually 1 tbsp. of flax oil and 1 scoop protein.
I do this until the thurs. of a sat show which then I completely change my diet and start carbing up, I prefer oats and sweet potatoes but there are other sources as well. Pending on how I look and how dry I am Friday night I will eat a "shitload" type meal at about midnight, usually a 12 oz sirloin, sweet potato w/ butter a small loaf of bread (the kind you get at outback, you know the kind) and a dessert, of course very little water we are talking sips here, sat morning of the show I go back to my normal carb up meals throughout the day with some simple sugar intake about 30 minutes before I step on stage, this is what I did last year but it could be all different pending on how I look and how I am coming down, etc....
