For guys using insulin pre workout. How far out from your workout are you taking your insulin? I usually do 10 to 15 min. A friend was telling me he thinks an hour or even 2 hours pre workout works better. Which would have it peaking during the session if you use R like most.

10-15 min before training , I use Humulin-R and inject it IM so it comes on faster (during training) the peak is much more stable and predictable and the active life is reduced this way

Ok that's what im doing now. I also do the R IM

Do you find the humalin-R still active by the time you get home to have post wo meal when you pin it IM?

Yea I've tested it and found that it seems to have cleared my system in about 4hrs.
If I take 10iu at 4pm , train and finish my intra and post workout shake (100g total carbs) at 6pm I'll get a little low in BG around 7pm despite having enough carbs to cover the dose (for me anyway)
But if I take 15iu at 4pm , train and finish my shakes at 6pm then have a meal 50g Protein , 25g carbs and 15g carbs at 6:45-7 I'm perfectly fine despite have less than 10g carbs per IU

Perfect just what I wanted to hear thanks brother. Sometimes log is such a pain to find and Id rather just walk into Walmart and by the R
