No you're right. Especially if you pack a lot in the container it can take a long time to cool to 38 degrees or whatever fridges are supposed to be. All that time, any bacteria present is having massive orgies on your meat.
fish and chicken..maybe 2 days..I go alittle longer with red meat but not much.I dont go near 7 days besides risking food posion, its tastes like crap, the older it gets.
