How long is HMG stable after mixing?

Hi guys.

I have a technical question, that I can't seem to find the answer to. For fertility purposes, I'd like to try some HMG. It comes in both 75 i.u. and 150 i.u. vials.

Now, the standard protocol for men is to inject 75 i.u. at a time.

My questions about HMG are:
1) If you mix (reconstitute) the 150 i.u. vial of HMG, would it be safe to store for a few days? or must it be used IMMEDIATELY?
2) What is the maximum time that it is safely mixed for, if kept refrigerated under proper conditions?

Bonus Q) Thinking outside the box here.... is injecting 150 i.u. of HMG less frequently a good idea? or is 75 i.u. 3x a week considered the best schedule?

I believe that if you search for the panthlet that comes with the medication probably from the makers website or you can probably email them and request one would help you find out the answer but I believe it would last as long as kept within the temperature limitations.

I would definitely try to find or get a copy of the panthlet and it should tell you the information you're looking for brother

Are you trying to get your sperm count up here? 75iu’s EOD is what’s the normal dosage for most fellas. I’m seen others though divide that 75iu by 2, getting 37.5iu dosed EOD and get the same results as the 75iu’s. That 37.5iu dose is more cost effective if money becomes an issue.

Not a recommendation but sharing info.

Changes in sex hormone levels, testicular volume and sperm count during hCG/hMG therapy were studied in 44 cases of idiopathic male infertility. These patients were divided into two groups and treated for 12 weeks. In group I, which consisted of 5 cases of azoospermia, 10 cases of severe oligozoospermia (less than 10 X 10(6)/ml) and 12 cases of mild oligozoospermia (10-50 X 10(6)/ml), 1,000 IU of hCG and 75 IU of hMG were both administered once a week. In group II, which consisted of 3 cases of azoospermia, 7 cases of severe oligozoospermia and 7 cases of mild oligozoospermia, 1,000 IU of hCG and 150 IU of hMG were both administered once a week. After 12 weeks, increase in sperm count was observed in 7 cases (26%) in group I and 4 cases (24%) in group II. Pregnancy was ensued in 4 cases in group I. There was no significant changes in testicular volume or sex hormone levels during hCG/hMG therapy.

I have gone through this myself with blood work to prove it and I can say 100% that you can store the leftover HMG in the fridge reconstituted for a few days, I stored it for about a week, with zero issues…

The pamphlet and directions say to use all at once… That’s bullshit lol

Again, I did bloodwork to prove that it was perfectly fine…

What NEMZ said! I’ve also done the same. Similar to GH, HCG, MT2, PT141, etc as long as it’s stored in a cool place and not disturbed it’s totally fine. I’ve used reconstituted MT2 that was a year old and it still worked!

With growth, HCG, HMG I’d use em within 2 weeks once reconstituted.
