How long is slin good for?

IF mixed and put in fridge, how long before it goes bad. Im gonna have a 10ml 100iu's/ml bottle which is gonna last me a long time since this is my first slin cycle and im only doing 8iu's pwo. I planned on using it the 1st and last month of my 16week cycle. WIll it stay good in fridge for 16wk/s

Yes it's fine for that long. Never seen any that needs to be mixed though, it's liquid already.

What is the shelf life on Humalog? I have some that is a few years old now. Is it trash?

Ok I think I may have gotten the wrong slin. I just got it today. First off the exp date is feb2006. It was also sitting in my mailbox in the sun. I don't think it has been refridgereted. Its made by Lilly and its humalinR. I just put it in fridge. How long will it stay good for. I didnt plan on using it till around november.

I used to think that Slin was good for only a short time and needed to be refrigerated. My buddy, who is actually diabetic, told me that Slin is not as fragile as we think and he's left bottles in his car, around the house, etc. and they're fine.

I would avoid direct sunlight and extreme temps, but it should last in a cool, dry spot until at least the exp date!

I have a diabetic friend who says the SAME thing...expiration date if its kept refrigerated for the msot part, and 30-60 days otherwise
