How long to abstain from caffeine to restore sensitisation of adrenals?

Ive been using pre workouts for a good while now for every work out, then a zero calorie monster most days and a coffee or 2 as well.

I noticed that I wasn't really getting much of a buzz from the caffeine as I used to so thought it would be a good idea to stay away from it for a while.

Im having a couple of weeks off from training at the moment so thought it would be a good idea use that time to abstain from caffeine. Its been 8 days so far and luckily I haven't had any withdrawal symptoms that Ive read of people having and was going to stay away from it for another week.

Just wondering if anyone has done similar, if so how long did you have off it and did you feel that sensitisation was greater when you went back to it?
 
A few weeks back I stopped for 8-9 days cold turkey, before that I was around 5 cups of strong coffee and on workout days another 200mg caffeine as part of an ECA stack. That break was intense, headaches all the time throughout. However when I started back with my coffee I was good off of 1 cup in the morning for weeks. I'm sure it takes a while to fully reset, but in that length of time I saw a major difference in tolerance.
 
I STOPPED DRINKING COFFEE FOR LIKE 4 MONTHS AT ONE POINT. WHEN I STARTED DRINKING IT AGAIN, JUST A FEW SIPS WOULD HAVE ME TWEAKING OUT. COULDN'T SIT STILL, HEART BEATING IN MY HEAD, SWEATING, ETC.
 
I need a break BAD!
