Does our lifestyle take yr's off in the end...? We all know that arnold is in good heath, but he has the best doctors and even he had some sort of minor heart problems. It be nice to here Big A, Phill's view on this.

I may just be blowing smoke up my own butt to pacify myself, but I have read extensively on HRT and it's benefits for the male.

If we understand that, as we age, testosterone and other vital horomone levels drop dramatically, then we can correlate those reductions to the actual "aging" process. I am a firm believer that by keeping test and HGH levels above baseline will retard the aging process - not stop it, but definitely delay it.

I take myself as an example. I eat right, get plenty of rest, take plenty of vitamin/mineral/protein supplementation, etc. In conjunction with the higher than average hormone levels, I feel that I look and feel dramatically better than those much younger than myself.

I am 33 years old, on doctor-prescribed HRT, and I look and feel great. At work I see people 5 years younger than me who look like hell. Most of them are either clinically obese or well on their way towards that classification. I get my full check-up annually, and (knock on wood), no problems to date.

So, in my opinion if we do not overdue to the point of abuse, then AS can be a part of an overall healthy and active lifestyle. My HRT doctor has patients I see in his waiting room who are considerably older than myself who look amazing. I am a believer.

good post, i think keeping everything in check, taking time off ect help. i am 21 now and dont want to drop dead at 40...LOL i guess look at ronnie he is older and on massive amounts of roid.

I think that most of us will be dead by 95.

about Arnold he always been healthy, but heart problems was runnig in his famely.so it could be that.i dont think we need to worry about that, half us would be dead by now, with doses some people takes.
i had check up,and results were the best, like new.i was scared about liver or kidney, but even my doc was happy to see that and suprised too:)because he knows what i did before the show.so we all happy ;)

I agree with all this.

Hmmm

How ever long it takes the bony ass lazy husband to find out the jacked up bodybuilder/steroid user is nailing his deprived wife!

Haha JJ!!

I believe it even goes part gh and AS, although they may be the ones that first come to mind. Its the lowering of most hormone levels (or the receptors sensitivity, ie-insulin) that help make aging and sickness a problem as we get old. I think one day it would be nice if a hormone cocktail would be available
to all. But with all the negativity torards gh/AS society will have to get over that first.

Where do you get a prescription for HRT?

Are there doctors that advertise this? Where can one get a prescription for HRT?

A hormone cocktail should be mandatory for all senior citizens and available to guys and gals over 30 years of age..lol

In all honesty I think GH-TEST when done in modeartion is like alcohol-it has benefits. When over done it can cause problems for some.

I watched Ronnie Coleman dealift 760 for 4 reps and the first thought that ran through my mind was, "I wonder how long he will live"? Genetics or not that dude is on some major drugs.

Well - I believe there are MANY contributing factors that lead to heart disease and IMHO it's not "all" genetic. At the rate people are getting heart diseas, if it was genetic, none of our ancestors would have made it :(

I've been reading about too many other lifestyle factors that can cause heart (blood vessel-type) problems for it to be coincidental. While "abuse" of 'roids "may" be a contributiong factor, I think there's a LOT more with scientific backing that as a general public, most are just ignoring.

I recently made a post about dioxins.

I just read another article on Clorine that SCARED the HELL outta me. I thought that by letting my water sit for at least two days, all the chlorine dissipates. But, depending on the number of particulates in the water (more is worse) the end result is trihalomethanes, which is a cancer-causing agent. I'll post the link if you guys want. I drink at least 4 qts of water a day, and it's probably been contributing to my early demise
