How many eggs do you eat and are they bad for you?

I usually eat 4 eggs everyday for breakfast and 2 more as a snack during the day. This week while visiting my parents they saw me eating so many eggs and they both started telling me eating so many eggs will give me bad cholesterol.

I was curious to know how many eggs you guys eat and how has any recent blood work come back if anyone has had any recent tests done.

From my understanding all the cholesterol in eggs don't contribute to your cholesterol but are they any facts out there to prove this?

BTW where my parents live their local farmers market sells 2.5dz eggs for $2.50
 
popular info from 20+years ago.... im sure the yolk isnt the best from typical eggs because of gm but natural eggs should be fine. maybe lay off the whole eggs and eat half or less yolks per meal
 
2 for me and from time to time 4,on my last physical my cholesterol was 140

Eat all you want of the local farm fresh type, just don't over cook the yolk or better yet don't cook it at all.

I've been eating boatloads of eggs for years and my numbers are perfect. I wish that cholesterol myth would curl up into the fetal position and die already.
 
i eat a lot. i only buy cage free omega 3 eggs and i can put away up to a dozen a day. i vary my cooking methods to avoid food sensitivities and my cholesterol is very good
 
I feed my creation 3 whole raw eggs every day. Before the eggs and when he was natural, his cholesterol was always 220-240 total. After 3 years of trt and raw eggs every day, his total cholesterol now is around 180.

Yeah, it was a plot against the young American boys and men to turn them into subservient little girly men by telling them to eat corn flakes for breakfast instead of the testosterone-building eggs and bacon they were raised on.

Despite the fact that their forefathers had been eating high fat diets for centuries with little to no ill effect The Powers That Be tried selling us a line of bullshit about eggs being bad for you and corn flakes being the key to good health.

Only an effin moron would believe that shit.

Supposedly, graham crackers were another item used for the same purpose.

Minimum 3 eggs per day plus a cup of egg whites.

Been doing it for a while now, never had cholesterol issues
 
Used to eat up to 10 whole eggs plus egg whites every day. No issues at all.

Can't eat them any more as I am unable to digest them properly.

Make sure you buy good quality eggs though.

Eat 'em without any carbs and pop some HCl tabs and your digestion issues should vanish overnight.

I remember doing the "drink egg whites thing" back in the late '70's and early '80s. So retro.
 
I eat 6 whole large daily. Sometimes 10. Cholesterol is great. Got a buddy who swigs mtn. dew all day and his cholesterol is terrible even though he avoids fatty foods mostly. Sugar is death. Fat is friendly.

Im not knocking the OP (well maybe a little) but I find it interesting that we all take hormones that, most of the time, will skew our cholesterol numbers, and then we become worried about eating a couple of eggs every day.

Im just as guilty of worrying about these sorts of things too...its just a tad ironic though...

9 Free range whole eggs everyday plus egg whites, done this forever, its like my body craves the eggs, NOTHING makes me feel as good as egg whites and free range yolkes :love::love:
