if you use gh in higher doses then I can't imagine not using insulin at any time, be it growth or cutting
But what purpose would it serve for cutting - when on high doses of gh?
And what if you are not on a high dose of GH? Let's say 4iu?if you use gh in higher doses then I can't imagine not using insulin at any time, be it growth or cutting
Not really, since metformin can do a great job in that(for most, 98% non mass monsters on this board).Depends on how many calories/carbs your taking in.
No I mean your insulin intake, are you talking about fast acting pre and or Post? I use novalin r.Not really, since metformin can do a great job in that(for most, 98% non mass monsters on this board).
Insulin halts MPB very efficiently.
@bigzzz you're a nice dude and glad to have you here - but you been beating a bunch of dead horses...How many more new threads can you start on already discussed topics?
This is how I do mine, pre. But IMO there is no need for liquid carbs, my pre workout meal egg whites, oats, banana is more than enough. I take 7 iu pre and my pre workout meal has over 100 carbs. I have smarties in gym bag if needed. If I increase dose and need more carbs I'll pull them from a later meal and add to my pre workout meal.As stated, even a very simple plan of 5iu humulin R 30-45 minutes pre workout on training days can help recovery a lot. Just move 20-30g carbs from other meals and put it in an intra liquid with 15-20g EAAs
Net MPB=MPS-MPB

LOLmale pattern baldness?
LOL
MPS - muscle protein synthesis
MPB - muscle protein breakdown

firstly - insulin is the strongest anti-catabolic available, secondly - it accelerates post-exercise recovery, thirdly - it helps to keep muscles full
Eating a solid meal just before lifting is a sure-fire way to have a shitty workout.I don’t like food or carbs before lifting. My whole meal is usually 90 minutes out, protein, some fats and some veggies like tomato slices and baby carrots.
Carbs make me lethargic AF. BUT I’ve trained semi fasted for a decade in the mornings.
But yes I agree if you eat carbs an hour out, you’ll be ok. But carry candy just in case. Who doesn’t like An excuse for candy anyways?
Agree. I always make sure I have 2 high carb meals in me before training especially if using slin so my situation is different. I've also trained fasted (no slin if course) and was fine. I try not to need the candy because then I have to subtract those carbs from my next meal haI don’t like food or carbs before lifting.
