How many times can you bench press 2 plates (225lbs) with perfect form non-stop?

I believe it has to be completed within 30 seconds also unless they changed that. I did 27 once in 30secs back in my 20s, I was never a strong bencher.
 
I spotted by buddy Jason, he did 49 reps with it, and 23 reps w/ 315. (He weighed about 280 at the time).

..as if you'r going to "take credit away" from the strength & endurance required for these athletes to press 225# (..in any capacity) for those numbers

I hear ya and agree.
Only mentioned that cause OP said “with perfect form” in the title of the thread.
 
The combine guys use sloppy form...some day one of them will tear a pec...
 
I believe 26 reps is my best with 2 plates. Weighing around 240
 
I am not going to claim perfect form but my form is pretty solid and I stroked out 40 on my 49th birthday about a month ago, was hoping for 49. Goal is to hit a 500# bench this year and then leave the heavy weights for the youngsters.
 
Personally hit 56 at one point when I have a private workout back in the day with the Titans. The first 30-35 reps were always with one single breathe...then rest at the top bang out a few more and so on. Have to keep the weight moving and keep that time under tension low. Im gonna have to try a rep out with 225 again to see what I can do now. Maybe 30-35 the first try. It’s all about the rhythm
