In shape bodybuilders always seem to be mis read when it comes to weight for obvious reasons.. How much do you get "accused" of weighing..

Personally, Im always accused of weighing more than i weigh.. Fat or fit, people always think i weigh more than i do..

Im short as hell so i guess i will always look heavier than i really am..

I was about 200lbs back in the late 90's..

in the in shape pic i was 165lbs.

Damn Alex you look huge for 165!!! I wish I could get that dry

This happens all the time, not so much with experienced guys, but the average person on the street usually has no idea. I just finished prepping for a show. I ended up weighing around 175 lbs. Most people at my gym assume I'm 200 or over. I wish...:D

Exact opposite for me.

My torso is large and long and I am glut dominant. I am sitting at 220 and get 190-200

People always think I'm in the 17 stone range, I wish. Only 15 and a half. Thats some progress Alex A in ur pics, ur doin something right.

look great alex the scale dont mean as much as people think i dont know why guys get carried away with the scale? look at flex i think one of the best of all time and he had a low wieght for the big boys..

how tall are you alex?

SB

About 2 months ago I was at 210, dieted down to 190 and was told by several people who did not know I was dieting that I was definitely bigger now.

Since I've been dieting down , it seems that people way undershoot my weight , been called 230 when I'm closer to 260 (but people steadly say I getting huge), but the same thing happened when i was at 300+ people would guess 270-280 when I was 300-315lbs. I think its funny as hell when people say that you "blew up" or "Got jacked" all because the lost 20-30lbs of fat !!

now that the general public , guys that workout alot of compete are generaly very close.

every single time I diet I get this, as you lose bodyfat become more defined people think you are getting bigger, wonder if that means when I am fatter people think im smaller and are just nice enough not to say it?

I know when I first started lifting in high school they always guessed my weight much less than what I reall weighed. Perhaps because muscle is more dense that fat. I weighed around 190 lbs as a senior and people thought I weighed about 170 lbs.

Later on when I grew larger, I was always skinny, they guessed my weight heavier than i was really.

I am 255 normally and people think Im 200-215. I do have a gut though. Steak and potatoes are just not worth giving up for a 6-pack :D

I try not to worry about scales but my bodyfat is going down alot but my weight is slowly going down. I guess muscle weighs more than fat. At least I am achieving my results. I remember correctly that someone said mirror is more important than scales. I am around 5'7 and about 300 pounds or less.

ya i weigh around 260-265 and people always gues im like 220-230 i guess thats a good thing maybe not IDK lol?

People are used to seeing you heavier.. now that your much leaner bro.. people think you weigh a lot less... you look a lot lighter because you lost a lot of fat..

Weigh 260-270 people usually guess 220-230.

I guess I don't look fat as I weigh :D

People guess 220-240. I'm actually 265-275 depending on the week.

Again, like somebody said above... when I get down to a lean 235, people think I got bigger.

I would have never guessed you at 165 in that pic. You look massive and ripped to the bone.

Some of you guys are big ass dudes.. i feel like runt at 165.. hell im 163 here .. im 5'4" never looked as ripped when i got heavier..

I am going to stick to the lean look..

right now i am weighing in at 235 although people have been guessing me at 220. i was in toronto 2 weeks ago and i asked a couple of the guys what they thought i weighed and the one guy actually said "like 180?". so yeah, i wanted to drop kick that guy.

i have noticed too though that when i dropped down to 212 a while back everyone thought i was 230 or more becuase the muscle was so much more defined. i think when people can see the cuts in the muscles it gives the impression of size.

People always seems to think I weigh more than I do. In bodybuilding that's a compliment. :D

Plus my delts are my most pronounced body part, so in a t-shirt I still look like a bigger guy.
