Seasoned w taco style seasoning, or that ballpark, yes. Not as a standalone. Always mixed with either eggs, rice or potatoes
How dare you shame my food with those 2 egg and pita plates…..

Keep the snarky bullshit up, as I said, you only expose your feminine nature.By asking you for more info you got all that? Must be even smarter than I originally thought![]()
The 80% break down on male/female food and aas is crazy. Our house works to around the same. I'm the major consumer by far. Last 5 years of food inflation has been noticeable for sure. Even though we are fortunate enough to spend what we want/need on food, I make a lot of efforts to economize and drive down costs per lbs.I just looked at the last 3 months, and my wife and I average about $350 weekly. That total includes...
Chicken breasts
Ground Chicken (discovered I love this by accident when we were at North American last year and I honestly wish I didn't like its so much!)
Ground Turkey
Sirloin
Rice
Oats
Cream of Rice (boring orange box...honestly, what sane person spends the outrageous $$$ that Elev8 and others want for their overpriced stuff?!?)
Chicken and beef broth (for rice)
Eggs
Eggs whites
Greek Yogurt
Cottage Cheese
Riced cauliflower
Peas
Corn
Cherry tomatoes
Stuffed ollives
Splenda
Mio
Crystal Light
Bananas
Apples
We also buy 2 each of Quest PB, Chocolate, and Cookies & Cream protein... Creamies are pricey the way we formulae them, and we have 1 or 2 each day.
...that's the list of what we buy consistently.
Something that I'v noticed is that if we broke it down, I'm eating probably 80% of what we buy, so this crap is MUCH cheaper for women... I could follow that up with the cost of her 5 Anavar tabs and .25mL of Primo that she averages monthly for the ENMTIRE YEAR! Okay, I'm exaggerating, but her drug cost is about 2.5% of mine as well... and THIS is why I never say "BOO" about her nails, hair, etc... my bodybuilding budget is HILARIOUSLY higher than hers!
Anyway, back to food. The only real consistent additions to the above are whatever we might have for an allowance meal every week or two or so. Last night, we had pizza, and that was an additional $30.
Goof Lord, my appetite is stupid!
I do the same…which is why I wish I hadn’t discovered ground chicken breast… definitely pricier than regular boneless/skinless!The 80% break down on male/female food and aas is crazy. Those boxes at Costco business center are more than buying smaller packs where I’m at. But they do have great deals on everything elseEven at peak offseason for me which was at 6600 cals a day I managed to keep it under $125 per week. If you have a Costco business center near you (or even a restaurant depot potentially) it is a game changer. I can get a 40 lb box of trimmer chicken tenderloins or breasts in the $1.49-$1.69 per lb range, lean ground beef at $5 a lb, and then I’ll buy as much in bulk that I can there and stick to the regular grocery store for the little stuff.
You can pick up hand turned grinders on Amazon for relatively cheapI do the same…which is why I wish I hadn’t discovered ground chicken breast… definitely pricier than regular boneless/skinless!
Way too much... chicken has gone from 5-6 Euros per kg a couple years ago to 10-12 EUR/ kg at the very cheapest. Vegetables and fruit are even worse.
It's depressing, but I probably spend around 150-200 EUR a week on food.
I can see the leafy ones being somewhat similar in taste ... I tried frozen brokkoli, brussel sprouts etc and they taste so bad compared to the fresh version that I'd just rather not eat any at all lol.Chicken in the US hasn't moved nearly that much. I still routinely see 1.99 to 2.99 per lbs range for boneless skinless breasts. Maybe up a bit over the last few years but not mega. Beef is our issue right now. Eggs got crazy for a while but came down. To some degree food is volatile, if prices and profits are high more will get produced like most commodities (price floor is pure cost of production and distribution which has no doubt risen).
I just moved to a frozen berry blend (raspberry, blackberry, blueberry) from Costco/Kirkland Brand. Super high quality, half the price and doesn't go bad. Not that I won't ever buy fresh but daily utility consumption this is a lot easier and no need to plan around my work travel either. Might do similarly with veggies as most of mine is green leafy so that and a frozen medley would be fine (nice dinners/meals is fresh of course).
