How much fats a day?

How much fat are you consuming per day? How much is needed for optimal growth/living?
Maybe Guru John Meadows could chime in and set up his recomendations :rolleyes:

I have Daily:
Olive oil - 1tbsp = 13g
peanut butter - 2tbsp = 16g
walnut oil - 1tbsp = 13g
fish oil caps - 2-3 = 2-3g per day
2.8% greek yogurt - 2-3oz = 5-8g day

2-3 times a week also have:
2-5 egg yolks
beef liver, beef
fatty fish
 
Cutting it'll vary between 30-60g

Bulking between 70-100g


Fats come from:
omega three egg yolks
coconut oil
mct oil
olive oil
natty peanut butter
fish oil
extra lean ground beef

Depends on the person though. I like fats on a bulk but usually keep them on the lower end of the spectrum because I get too much indigestion if I have too many fats with my carbs.
 
You should be generally looking for get a 40-40-20 ratio of proteins carbs and fats. As long as you are getting a variety of healthy fats and not eating them with your carb meals, it should not cause fat gain.
 
depends on the subject, being it is very individual.

my body usally lets me know that i need fat

precontest i rotate my fats and amounts depending on how i look
