How much money do you spend a year on gear?

That's how I see it. Like someone else mentioned that some other guys will spend a shit load on a nice car, but they have to leave the car in the parking lot. We have are bodies with us all day and there are plenty of everyday stituations that make not only the money, but the time and effort in the gym worth it. Plus, it's not something lots of people do, there are plently of assholes with a nice car... not too many with a good body. You stand out more and get more respect (even if you don't use gear).
For the guys who feel bad about how much they spend, ask your friends who do motor cross, snow boarding, bmx, or any other sport how much they spend.. I bet it's just as much if not more.

Let's look at other expenses:

A moderately priced $4 coffee from Starbucks on weekdays only, is over $1000 a year.

Friends who drink easily spend $50/weekend and that's being modest. That's one night out easily. Spread $50 over two and you aren't even drunk either night. This doesn't even count junk food often involved... That's $2500/year!!!!!

Add a little taco bell at the end of the night, and say you have a few beers the next day and watch the game, and your total is now easily $4000/year. That's only $77 for two days for alcohol and food, that's nothing.

Go out to a decent dinner once a month, plus order pizza for yourself and the girl, once a month on another night, you'll easily spend $800/year.

Get a lifted truck that "attracts" some skanks, you can easily spend $6000 a year. Easily!! My payment? Less than half.

Suddenly the shit most of us sacrifice seems to counter the expenses of our hobbies.

None of it bothers me when i look at it in retrospects. A few freinds of mine are partiers and spend easilly 100-200 dollars every friday and saturday on drinks and blow. Another freind races motorcycles and said he spends 400 a month on tires alone. Another freind is a heavy gambler(casino, games, horses) spends way more than he loses. A few times ive seen him lose thousands and then go on a drinking binge to cover up how he feels. so compared to them i dont spend much at all

That was the point I originally said...the comps You save going out, comped drinks etc....actually balance out the cost of gear

I'd say about a grand a year give or take. Really depends how much time I'm cruising versus blasting. A solid 3-4 month blast might cost me $500+ easily, but then cruising on a trt level of test for a couple months is only a few bucks a week

no idea, but now that im goin to start taking gh,,,a decent dose,,higher than average,,,gonna run about 300 a mont, so thatd be 3600 a year on gh,,,,gear is cheap,,,i dont beleive in peptides and supplements hype so i barley spend money on that,,,just some good bcaa and some protein,,,i spend alot on food, scared to calculate how much i spend on food but i always look for sales,,,and i save 50 a month on transportation by taking the metro instead of driving downtown to work,,,so i try and save other ways,,,gym membership is only 20,,,,cut out the peptides and supplements like creatine and everything else that gets hyped and you can spend more on gear/hgh

london broil can be found for 1.99/lb
chicken breast can be found for 1.99 a lb,,sometimes 1.7/lb

sweet potatoes,,,,rarley i will see them for .69/lb

but really the meat we eat is what costs so much,,,red meat and chicken,,carbs and fats are cheap

I'm on HRT, but zero help from the insurance. That is $420 a year alone.

Extra roids, pills and injects around $1000 to $1500.

GH, no a lot maybe $500, low level HRT type does.

Legal sup, mainly vit pills, maybe $100.

Protein, not sure but probably under $500

Extra food I wouldn't need if I was a skeleton, A LOT.....

Is it worth it? HELL YEAH!! If I had more $$, I'd spend ten times that, especially the HGH....
