How much protein do you eat and why.???

I’ve found that 1 gram of protein per body weight is optimal for muscle gains and it doesn’t cause an upset stomach like 1.5 grams per pound of body weight does.
 
75,g whey upon waking
100g chicken a couple hours later
100g chicken or steak 5 hours later
50-100g chicken or some kind of meat protein before bed

Are those measurements in grams of protein from that source or is that the weight of the meat?
 
I cut back to 100-120 grams per day several years ago and there has been absolutely no negative change in my physique or strength. On a positive note my stomach and lower GI tract have both improved immensely. I also increased my healthy fats and I'm convinced this has resulted in more muscle fullness! I have no science to back this up other than I just plain like it!!!!


I totally agree. I think to much protien results in problems.I was old school ego lifting in the 90s but alot of the thinking wasnt totaally correct.I am at 223 pounds at 5-10. I started intermint fasting.Works really well. You will eventually have GI problems when you contiously eat 6 times a day.I am eating about 1500 calories and i am losing bodyfat.
