how much protein do you eat in a day

200-300 grams, wide range because it varies on whether or not I'm dieting , or bulking , and then if I'm assisted or not, these days I prefer to keep carbs wayyy higher , I noticed so many benefits with carbs being higher like ... increased performance in both strength, size, and endurance, also I keep way more muscle dieting with lower protein higher carbs, and I think its safe to say the cost is another major plus.

i am the same way. i bought into the low carb is for everybody thinking I just do much better recomps with atleast some carbs
 
350 protein,100 fat,100 net carbs daily.Carb up 1 day weekly 500 carbs 200 protein,30 fat.Metablism srays high grow great stay lean.
 
Last night I went to a party at Fogo De Chao for a friend who is also really into his training and easily ate over two pounds of meat myself.

For those that don't know what Fogo De Chao is, it is a Brazilian steakhouse where they serve unlimited amounts of various types and cuts of meat for about a $50 a head price tag. Not like I go there often, but it was well worth every penny and so damn good!

in my old diet ways where protein was king Id be all over places like that ..

Now a days id be making an excuse to get out of going to places like that because id eat 5 dollars worth of protein LOL

What really surprised me was how well prepared the meat was actually. Probably some of the best restaurant steaks I have ever had (you can't top grass fed beef straight from the farm). So you aren't just paying for quantity, it is good quality meat too.

believe me I know I have been to a few of these types of restaurants .. and loved them but protein doesnt love me ..
 
I think i eat 300. I can't eat more protein because i am on diet and want to lose some weight. Anyway its a very interesting topic and all comments are superb. Keep it up friends.
 
I think protein doses need to vary from person to person. IMO a lot of people eat moe than they need. I used to consistently take 350grams plus per day and now I am down to around 200 approx an I haven't lost size at all. And my body shape has improved also

never ate much protein, too much protein makes me slugish and bloated tried 400-500g a day back in the days but that's just not for my body/digestive system...these days getting about 250g/day and keeping carbs high all the time , have never ever dieted on less than 225g/day, when putting on muscle 400-800g (depending on what I'm on)
