How much sterile water to use with 5mg of tb500?

1 ml of of sterile water is ok for 5mg tb500 single dose? And do i need to asperate with subq injections to my great dane?

I have found

"When giving SubQ injections you 'do NOT' aspirate. I am a nursing student and we have been taught not to apirate insulin as it is only going into the SQ layer which only has tiny capillaries and will do no significant damage if hit. The rules for insulin injection are as follows:
*if you can pinch an inch, inject at 45 degrees, if you can pinch 2 inches, inject at 90 degrees
*keep bevel up, do not aspirate, do not massage (alters absorption rate)
*used mixed insulins within 5 minutes
*for rapid-acting and short-acting insulins, have FOOD IN SIGHT"

not sure if there is any truth to it.

but i plan on not aspirating with my pet great dane.

I have been using the TB500 for about 2months and the Bac water is what I have been using to recon the whole time. I can tell you this however.....the injection itself burns like hell.

1ml of water is fine...my rat never noticed any discomfort from injection

Asperating is used to see if you hit a big vein or artery, by pulling back on the plunger .25" once fully injected IM.

Since your injecting SQ, this is not a concern.

I have the same painless experience with Ergo TB500.

my guess is that you are using bac water? are you using sterile water with it or bac water? i heard sterile water stings... im still waiting on my tb500 to come in so im not sure if osta gains sterile water will sting or not.. i heard it does though

I'm using sterile water. I would think the BA would sting if anything. I will try BA next time and it is from Ergopep

I usually buy the 10mg vials, reconstitute with 1.2cc of bac water, and back load 4 pins with .3cc of the mix, that gives me 4 x 2.5mg doses, which I usually take one of every week, makes me feel great, very little joint pain, recovery and soreness time greatly decreased after a workout, hell anymore I don't even get sore, and I move as heavy of weights I can in the DC training style.

Try bac water. Sterile water stings the heck out of me. Some people can get away with sterile water, but i cannot!@#
