How much water retention is normal?

Curious what your experience is as far as how much water you hold on various compounds. Testosterone and Growth Hormone in particular.

I recently started on TRT (100-200mg), and low dose HGH (2-3iu). I was on a cutting diet, for a few months and recently adjusted to 500 calories over maintenance. On the cutting diet, carbs were limited to a 12 oz potato.

I put on nearly 20 pounds in a week, which seems like an incredible amount of water... is this normal for what I'm taking? I also added in 10g creatine, and 50mcg IGF-1 LR3 on training days.
 
Did you go straight from a cutting diet to a gaining one. If so then 20 lbs. is doable. I gained 19 lbs over night after doing my first show.
 
the new diet is +500 calories, but what amount of carbs? That will have huge impact on holding water and weight gain.

No that's not normal for the dosages your taking. But I see you were on a low carb diet before, depending on how many carbs you're eating now and how big you are, I'd say that's where the water came from. Not from the test or HGH.
