I had a pec major rupture on 11/23/13 the day before Thanksgiving. Barbell bench with 405. I was working in Wyoming at 7200 feet where its extremely dry and arid. All I was doing was working seven days a week and training. My Doc said he believes I got dehydrated and cause the tendon rip from the muscle. There was still some tendon left on the bone so he attached my tendon with structure 5 wire. I had to wait three months for surgery because my insurance had just kicked with my new company. I was down a total of four months. When my tendon ripped it was not a pop its sounded like a phone book tearing it was loud to say the least.
Today is 5/10/13 roughly 34 days since having my pec reattached. If the tendon tears it can be fixed within six months. If your muscle tears it has to be fixed immediately or they can't do anything with it. I went into deep depression during the time it was not attached. My pec was hanging and would bounce like a females breast. You could see it hanging clearly through my shirts.
I had not been using AAS at that time because I was running a god bit. I was on HGH for at least 16 out the last 24 months.
I started HGH the day after surgery at 5iu (Elitropins and Rips). I started dieting approx 30 days ago around 4/15/13. He did a great job with the surgery but I think there is muscle damage to what extent I do not know as he said my chest would continue to fill out.
He saw me today 5/10/13 and said I could start chest exercises in four to six weeks. I have already started my own rehab no one knows my body like me. I only do push movements and have not touched a fly movement yet. Currently I am able to press 35 pound dumb bells (down from 130s for 12 touching the chest) I am not concerned with strength at this point I am more worried about range of motion. So far I am 90% range of motion.
Currently as of 5/10/13 I am running HGH and IGF-1. Pics were before rupture.
