How to delete your Google Browsing History before new policy

I had shit on there from over 7-8 years ago. Wow glad I saw this and took care of it ASAP. It goes into effect on March 1st. Also leave it "Paused" at the end. It will still gather info but it will not be associated with person.

Thanks for posting! Does the history contained in there contain your history for every comp you have had Internet access on while logged into google? Or is it specific to each comp?

This is why all account info on everything I do is dummy info. Name, age, gender etc... I also have a dummy gmail account that I check from time to time but never my business / personal email address. Can they still find out who I am....not sure but it's not like I look at anything bad anyway besides steroid websites that I purchase off of from time to time but that's it.

Once you clear your history it will be set to paused so what that means is that it will still track your history but it will not be associated with any person. So just make sure to leave it as paused after you clear your history.

They will have your I.P. address, so yes they can find out who you are and where you are. Now you can get crazy and log into different servers ect to try and stay anonymous. Or you can actually purchase software that will randomly assign an I.P. address every time you are on line. They are not that expensive but you have to make a lot of adjustments to your other systems and software so it becomes a pain in the ass.
