How to find BB shows/expos/events in my area?

I've never been to a bodybuilding show and would like to check one out. Is there a website that lists upcoming shows? I'm in the NJ/NY/PA area, so I'm interested in going to a show in the northeast. Thanks

I can tell you that the East Coast Cup is fairly small, but I'm not sure about the others. If you want to travel to Boston, the NPC New Englands is one of the best shows in the Northeast, I think it's November 1st. Eastern USA is another good competitive show in NYC a couple of weeks later.

Maybe not "near" future, but thinking about it. Right now, I'd just like to go to a big show, see what it's all about, and hopefully get motivated to train even harder.

The Baltimore shows have been PACKED the past 2 years. I went to go watch the Gladiator Classic in March and it was standing room only in a college performance theater... For most of the shows, if not all, they moved them to a bigger venue, the Hippordrome, right in Baltimore.... The shows are promoted well, they have good guest posers (Phil Heath at the Gladiator) and usually lots of vendors.

Some friends and I are thinking of going to the Eastern USA show in NYC this Saturday. Does anyone know what time the evening show will end on Saturday night? Just trying to figure out dinner and travel plans after the show.

If they run it like most shows, I wouldn't plan on getting out there until 11PM lol Count on bringing you dinner with you unless you only plan on staying for a specific category.... In which case, I would contact the event promoter / POC and ask what the order of events will be...

Wow, The show starts at 6pm, I think, so I had no idea it would go so late. Thx for the heads up.

I was at a show last year where the night show started at 6pm and didn't end until 1am. With bikini and physique divisions added in the shows can be rediculously long. The promoters have adjusted to cut time, but the judging has suffered from being rushed.
