I don’t no the backstory, but I do agree, I am worried. You know what you should change, Jonh - I've suggested it to you many times and I'm honestly worried about you.
My advice: come off voluntarily before your health forces you off

Not to sound redundant, but I must echo what others have previously stated. If your BP and HR can’t be controlled on those doses, then something internally is wrong. Unless you’re using grams of gear, high tren/high test with no AI, it shouldn’t be that high.
If you’re doing any cardio and eating remotely like a bodybuilder, those BP drugs should work. Resistant BP indicates something internally is off. I would speculate this is due to high blood viscosity, skewed to hell lipids, and other factors. I know you probably won’t care what others say, but if you do, get the hell off these drugs at the high dosages you seem to be doing, man. I had untreated high BP for years, severe LVH before 30 like an imbecile.
That was my wake-up call. Fix yourself
I’m skinny now (for me and bodybuilding standards). I went from about 280 (6’2”) to about 240 and am going down even more.Did you find anything in particular that helped reverse your lvh? be it lifestyle practices, supplements or changes in drug use.
Bro I don’t know you but 240 is not skinny if your echocardiogram was fucked in may and your only 28. You have such a long life to live. You do you. I’m just saying you need to come off and either just workout without gear or pick up another hobby. This may not be what you want to hear but the truth needs to be said here. Again nothing against you or personal . But you need to re- assess your choices. Life or weightlifting on drugs.good luck with what ever you choose brotherI’m skinny now (for me and bodybuilding standards). I went from about 280 (6’2”) to about 240 and am going down even more.
I cycle every day for about an hour after weights. I don’t do high stim or any pre workouts anymore, just have an energy drink or two. The plan is to get down to about 220 and hang out there for a while. My echocardiogram in May was totally fucked. I just had in October that looked much better.
I’m still scared to cycle hard (or even at all) again and I probably will wait until May for my one year checkup and echo. I may even take longer and try to fully reverse it as much as I can. I don’t know. I’m 28, and gave up any hopes of doing anything with the sport so I’m in no rush.
I was on from 21-27 or so with no BP control. That 6 year stretch was enough to do a number on me
TRT test at 150mg since May
Nebivolol 5mg
Telmisartan 40mg
Ubiquinol 800mg
Curcumin (dosage varies)
Thanks Pimpman. I appreciate the honesty, I don’t like being BS’ed. I’m pretty embarrassed what I look like now, honestly. I went from about 280, not super lean, but 12% to about 240 at around the same BF. No 150mg won’t kill you. But just clean up the health issues first then start the 150 nothing wrong with that. I’m use this example and hopefully you understand it even though it has nothing to do with body building but it does to what I told you about the 150mgThanks Pimpman. I purposely downsized. Got a little depressed with the diagnosis in May so strayed from the diet and didn’t train, just did cardio until a few months ago. Now, the goal is 220 as lean as I can be. The 150 test doesn’t seem to hurt anything. My last echo looked a lot better.
1. Is that fine to do, raise the Nebivolol all the way up to 20mg?If you don;t want to come off you could:
- Add a calcium channel blocker to that mix. Amlodipine together with that max dose telmisartan.
- Increase your nebivolol - 20mg then up even more if nothing.
- Add zone 2 cardio everyday - tracking with a HR monitor 135 bpm + finish off with 3 HIIT max out.
- Add a mild diuretic.
What do you do for zone 2?Not to beat a dead horse, but I do fasted morning zone 2 cardio daily and walk 10K or a bit more steps. Yes, it's boring but my BP averages 115/75 at 54 years old, and RHR is around 60-65- used to be 125-130/ 87-82 and RHR 70-75 before I did that change... shit works. I hope it works for you, sir.
Wonder what your blood pressure is without. Are you sure the blood pressure meds are real? Like everyone here says diet and cardiovascular trainingWithout coming off gear or doing a cruise, how can I lower my blood pressure and pulse? Not coming off or going to a cruise don’t waste your time advising it.
I already take 80mg Telmisartan and 10mg of Nebivolol every day. Is the answer to just take then even more of both?
Blood pressure and pulse are not looking good. 145/90 and HR is regularly 100BPM.
I haven’t been doing cardio but I am open to starting it up again. Sleep is OK but not great. I have a sleep study scheduled in February.
Competed in October, am now in an off-season phase and pushing up bodyweight. Think I may have slight edema but not sure.
Advice here?
get one of those desk treadmills. They usually go up to 3.7mph so you can actually go pretty dang fast. I don't like to work and use it so what I do is at 10 till the hour I hope on for 10 minutes at least 6-7 times a day. Before you know it, you have 60-70 minutes of walking in. I'm in OH and it's -12 wind chill and ice outside so I totally get it man.1. Is that fine to do, raise the Nebivolol all the way up to 20mg?
2. I’m gonna start zone 2 fasted cardio back up, but any advice on getting 10k steps a day while the snow is coming down? I have a sedentary job.
I have a stationary bike, adjust resistance as needed, and I pedal it standing up, not seated. I monitor my heart rate with the bike sensors as well as my Apple Watch to make sure I’m in range. What do you do for zone 2?
Telemarsan raises my RHR. Cardio and less caffeine lower it. Not sure what you're on. If on to much CNS stimulating gear or water holding gear. Try switching if you wont come down.
