how to sterilize a used vial

Any sure way to sterilize and re-use a used, empty prescription test vial? Looking to sterilize and use for non-oil product.

Not asking about whether I should do this, asking if it's possible to reliably sterilize a used oil vial and keep label intact.

I inject rubbing alcohol in it shake it for a little bit and then try to get all the alcohol out of it, i don't mind if i can get all the alcohol out because it's antibacterial after all.! Some smart guy will say rubbing alcohol is toxic, but i don't care, it works!

Label intact idk, but I’ve heard of those who make their own gear using an instant pot to sterilize open vials with steam

I never looked into it but I’m sure the info is out there somewhere

Wash first with Isopropyl.

Put in oven for 1.5 hours, highest heat.

Pressure cooker 15 psi, 30 mins.

If you have money, get an autoclave and thats it all you need (lab grade).

You just wanna put different gear in it and have the label so it looks legit? If you just used the vial and didn’t poke the stopper 100 times then just fill it back up

Just buy new vials, you're asking for issues unless you need the label on there for nefarious reasons.

If you put alcohol in the sealed vial and/or heat it you can kill off any bacteria that may be in there. But the biological garbage from the dead cells will still be in there for your body to deal with if you inject it into yourself. Just depends on how much contamination you want to deal with. We all have our own comfort zones.

I have flown with GH hydrated in an empty humalog vial. No issues.

I would like to continue taking a peptide during a period of time when I can only possess prescription drugs. Nothing I'm carrying will be tested, but it will be discarded if non-prescription. I can't even have creatine, amino acid powders etc. Peculiar yes, nefarious no. Just a private work/recreational situation with extraordinary security protocols. Not a customs issue. I don't know why members of this forum often press hard for details. Discretion seems warranted and should be encouraged; we're all here conspiring to source and use controlled substances. I'm just looking for insight so I can make a more informed decision.

Just buy a new bottle wtf lol you cart keep the top on and actually sterilize it. Won’t work. That rubber absorbs bacteria and if you heat it enough to kill bacteria your melting rubber in it

Have you got access to bawater or sterile saline? Simple. Remove the sterile water saline etc put peptide in. Is someone going to snatch BA water? Not being a dick but seems like you are over complicating things here.
I went on a cruise once and sterilized a glass suntan oil bottle. Rinsed with isopropyl alcohol filled bottle half full with vegetable oil added 2% BA placed aluminum foil on the bottle and baked in the oven 375 for 2 hours.
Once in Mexico drained the oil from the bottle and filled it with primoteston and sustanon. Came home no issues sterile filtered into new sterile vials.

I think you are onto something with the saline. I wear contacts so saline makes sense, bac water less so. If I can't keep this pretty simple I will just go without.

I can't use new vials. If I could i would just use the vial the peptide comes in. I also have new clean empty vials. But I need a vial with a label on it that matches the prescription box.
I have thought through all of these other options and I am asking my original question because I have only 2 choices - sterilize and reuse one of my script test c bottle or just not bring the peptide. I'm probably just going to do the latter.
I appreciate all the responses.
