how to sterilize a used vial

I can't use new vials. If I could i would just use the vial the peptide comes in. I also have new clean empty vials. But I need a vial with a label on it that matches the prescription box.
I have thought through all of these other options and I am asking my original question because I have only 2 choices - sterilize and reuse one of my script test c bottle or just not bring the peptide. I'm probably just going to do the latter.

Closing the loop.
I used a prescription test-c bottle without issue.
I transferred all the test to a new sterile bottle, then repeatably “rinsed”the test bottle with alcohol until no oil was visible in the alcohol. Then a few bac water rinses. Then I added the reconstituted peptide. It remained clear with no degradation and I used it all week without event. Not a lab-level process, but everything was new, and I kept my process as clean as possible. My big concern wasn’t injecting non-sterile chems, but compromising the peptide via cross contamination.

I’m not a rocket scientist but if I saw a vial that should contain an oil that contains water… I’d be suspicious. I guess it’s good timing with tsa right now

Rocket scientists don’t work for TSA, the bottles are brown glass and all fluids look the same in them, and I didn’t deal with TSA (private travel). More people should read through threads before responding to the latest post.

Wash first with Isopropyl.

Put in oven for 1.5 hours, highest heat.

Pressure cooker 15 psi, 30 mins.

If you have money, get an autoclave and thats it all you need (lab grade).

This or buy new sterile vials.
