I've read so many people asking about infertility and using steroids. I've also read most, if not all, replies are not to worry. Well, I just want to inform people that it can shut down production of all sperm. Before I go on, I'd like to say that I have a 5 year old so my problem is not genetic.
3 years or so ago, I was put on HRT. Started at 50mg of test/week and ended up at 150 mgs/week. I recently got married and we've been trying to get pregnant for over a year now. I decided to go and get checked and found out that I had no sperm. Not in the sample they used under the scope or what was left in the rest of the container. Now my doctors said that they have seen the opposite happen and some people have gotten their wives/girlfriends pregnant but in my case, that didn't happen. So the reasoning behind this post is just to inform those that are concerned about this that it can happen. Also, that in most cases, sperm production has come back after stopping Testosterone treatment.
My journey begins and I will keep anyone who is interested updated on my progress.
