HRT and Insurance

Insurance covers it. No copay after deductible met, so basically zero charge as I meet my deductible early in the year with other tests and procedures.

Man, you have good insurance! Mine works kinda like that with the deductible, but once its met I still have to pay 25% until I hit my yearly max and then it pays 100%. Sure you dont mean your yearly max?

$5 copay for me. but BCBS (my prior insurer) did not cover hcg and i ended up paying $8000 for hcg/hmg in order to get my nads back on line so i could jerk into a cup and pay my wife's fertility doc $35,000 to have 1 boy. But he has a big dick and its not from my side

I meet deductible and it pays 100% of everything. Deductibe is $1800 as required by HSA regs.

pay around 30 bucks a month.
get 400mg test cyp every week.
means 8cc a month. doc give me one shoot a monyh rest i take home in already filled syringes.
is pain in butt to go there once a month.
was asking him if i not just can get the bottle from walgreens. he said he is nit allowed to give me more then a one month supply.

I just filled a 10 week supply yesterday at Walgreens.

400 mg a week!?!? wow.Where does that put your test levels?

My insurance won't cover it because they only cover a 30day supply, which would be $40, but the entire bottle (10 week supply) costs me $85, which is cheaper than the insurance...

My other scripts are super cheap, letro is $15 for 30, prami is $5 for 30 .5mg, I just get screwed on the cyp, not sure why...

Anyone with any idea on how to get them to cover more of it let me know!

After reading this thread I worked harder on getting my insurance to cover my HRT. My doc had to send them my low testosterone bloodwork and some other info and my insurance now covers 100% of my perscription!

I have atena and my co pay is 15 bucks for a 10ml of test c. It would have been 110.xx from walmart.

It was pretty much 100 bucks everywhere i called.
