HRT SCRIPT FILLED

I JUST RECEIVED MY HRT SCRIPT FROM THE DOC TODAY!! 200MGS OF TEST. CYP EVERY 2 WEEKS.. IM REALLY EXCITED IN 1 WAY BUT IN ANOTHER IM KINDA TORN BECAUSE IM ASSUMING THIS IS FOREVER.. FOR ANYBODY ON HRT WHAT ARE YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT IT, DO YOU THINK ITS FOR THE BETTER? AND DO YOU EVER CYCLE MORE TEST THAN YOUR SUPPOSED TOO?

bump, my orig script was 200mg/E2W, you'll feel much better splitting that up and keeping blood levels more stabalized.

I agree with vadim. I'd also say that it is for the better if you tested low. I've been on HRT for over nine years, and I have to say that I really enjoy the benefits. I have also done a few cycles in addition to my HRT.

Each individual will be different based on their metabolism and other factors-especially the dose depends on what the doc wants you at.

The standard is 200 mg every 2-4 weeks. I feel bad for people that have to go in and get a pop like that. My doc gave me a script and said take 100 mg a week or 200 mg every 2 weeks. I took 100 mg per week and got blood pulled then 200 mg per week and got blood pulled and now am on 300 mg per week and my test is over 800ng/dl where he wants it

Regular HRT isn't like a cycle for sure but it does help some what.

I have seen blood results from some of my guys that I was training that were stacking and for example one guy was on 1000 mgs of Test Prop a week and his free test levels came back over 7000ng/dl if I remember correctly. He was also stacking tren and deca -so who knows there may have been some test in the tren and deca as well-as sometimes happens in UG labs as the test results seemed really high. Another was on 1,200 mg of Testoviron and his levels came back at 5600 ng/dl.

You know what the medically prescribed dose of HCG is for hypogonadism?
4500 iu's a week i.e. 1500 iu's EOD. Yikes.

Clomid is used also at 25 mg a day.

Transdermal Gels like androgel only have a 10% absorbtion rate the 5 gram packet only yields about 5 mg of free test and the 10 gm packet is designed to release 10 mgs. Usually a normal young adult male will produce around 7 mgs of testosterone a day for biological functions.

28yo here.

How do you justify to your doctor being on the high end of normal? I get 400mg p/month. And after 2 weeks i was at like 460. I would like to be in the higher end of the spectrum.

Gordo what was your Total Testosterone before you statred HRT? And What is it around now?

10% of 5gm = 500mg. you must have meant .01% absorption.
sublingual or buccal test lozenges are another way to go. you take them twice a day. i would think patches, cremes, and lozenges give us the most even levels.

THE DOC FIRST ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO TRY STRIANT--BUCCAL TEST LOZENGERS THAT STICK TO THE GUM OF YOUR MOUTH AND THE HAVE TO BE THERE FOR 8 TO 12 HRS THEN ANOTHER LOZENGER GOES ON THE OTHER SIDE OF YOUR MOUTH FOR THE SAME TIME.. I TOLD HIM THAT, THAT ISNT REALLY PRACTICAL TO ME AND SEEMS LIKE A PAIN IN THE ASS AND HE SUGGESTED INJECTS WHICH I ACCEPTED WITH OPEN ARMS

Your doctor determines the range.
This is the second endo I have been too, the first one wanted me in the 400-450 range so we parted ways.

Free Testosterone 348, the normal range is 270-827, and the free testosterone was 9.7 with the normal range being 9.3-26. So i was on the low range of normal. I get 400mg per month.

You are what they term "borderline low." I originally tested at 310 the first time, then a later test was at 194. Urologist put me on HRT even after the first test. I was 30 at the time.

Yes, definitely do not go the buccal route. Injects are the best way to go.
