HRT

I have recently (December) undergone a total hysterectomy and am on HRT (Estratest)....I just started my contest prep (10 weeks out) and am concerned as I am not sure how this may affect my ability to lose fat...should I be concerned or shall I reduce my dosage? Anybody been through this? Would anti-e's be of any benefit? I really am afraid to not take my daily pill ....it is scary!

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I noticed a problem with water retention. About 6 weeks out I went off the HRT and the water dropped off, and I looked a ton better. I went 8 weeks off the HRT before I started having hot flashed and night sweats. It won't hurt you to go off of it especially if you aren't having any menopause symptoms.

IMO it gives you a kind of advantage, estrogen make you retain water. When most women competitors have to deal with water retention from estrogen, and you don't have to worry about it.
