Humalin-R 1.5 hours before training

If your gonna do that make sure you have plenty of simple carbs available before, during and after the training session. In a liquid form like say gatorade with maybe some honey mixed in as well, add some aminos and glutamine and creatine....
 
how much are you gonna do? have you used slin before, if not start with say 2-4ius max. it doesn't seem like much but it's powerfull.
 
ok, I've got that from a few people. I'm going to move it to 30-45mins prior training. Only reason I had it 1.5 hours before training so it would have plenty of time before I go to bed. So with it being 45mins prior training, I will be injecting at 5:00pm. I go to bed at 10:30pm. I should be fine eh?

This will be second time I've ran insulin. Before only ran novolog PWO only. Not sure about using Humalin-R.


Doug: Thanks for the reply. Yeah, will definitly have a gatorade on hand. Going to start at 4iu's, trying to advance to maybe only 6iu's. Will be taking igf as well.

Unless I had a boatload of carbs, 4-6iu's with IGF would make me hypoglycemic for sure. I don't know if you've used them in tandem before but I just wanted to mention it in case you haven't.
 
if you do the humalin im into the muscle to be trained, it releases fast as you lift.you can pretty much do it right before lifting.

Never done them both before, thats why I'm kinda sceptical about it...I know the igf intenses the insulin, so thats why I'm trying to get everyones thought....
 
you got me curious, so i did a subq shot 3ius of humalin-r pre- leg workout today.

i did the shot 30 min before warm-up.

warmed up 30 min... felt first hit during this.

about 35 minuites into lifting i was completely rocked by the second peak

i had a decent sized breakfast 40 min before the shot, and had been consuming a steady amount of carbs, so the first peak was no prob. second one sucked. had to chug a mass recovery.

i think 1.5 hours before lifting is too early.

i also prefer the release of an im shot done immediatly pre-workout. i have mixed a low amount of slin and igf and done an im shot before working biceps. it worked well

this is nothing i do regularly, so i'm not really qualified to give definitive advice here.

i was pissed at the amount of carbs i ended up consuming. looks like tomorrow will be a no starch day :(
 
Yeah, I tried it yesterday and not my cup of tee. I'm going to stick to Humalin-R in morning and humalog PWO then once I get home, inject igf....just works for me...

just did it

did 5 ius IM 1 hour prior to workout. ate a meal with it, then had a vitargo shake after my meal.

PWO did another 5 ius with another vitargo shake, now another meal.
