humalog pens?

I have the 3ml x 100iu pen but the pen is a pain in the ass to use... my plan is to extract from the chamber with my own pins... if someone could double check my math that would be great... if I wanted to pull 10ius that would be 3 ticks on my slin pin or .03ml correct? im used to humilin r which is 10ml x 100iu and the math is very easy

there are 100 units per ML, so 300 units total in 3ML. Each tick on a U100 insulin syringe will be 1 unit of insulin. So if you want a 10 unit dose, it will be 10 units on an insulin syringe (.1 ml).

oh damn i must have read the pen wrong... i thought it said 100ius in 3mls... ill have to double check when i get home tonight but i thought it said 100ius of slin in the entire 3mls of water

100ui per ml, the pen is 3ml.

Use the pen. It's the best thing ever!

well im having problems when i select the number of ius using the pen it binds up on me sometimes when i try to press it in... i have 2 pens maybe ill try the other one if it doesnt bind ill just use that

It shouldn't do that,,,never seen that before. Try that 2nd pen and see if it works.

can this pen be used with oils ? Sounds Great for TRT

I never use the needle that comes with those pens....both log and lantus pens i just insert my own pin into the the barrel past the rubber stopper and pull out what I need
