humalog pre work out (different timing)

Most protocols is see for pre workout are 30minutes pre.

Can I possibly use humalog 1.5 hours pre?
I usually do post work out because pre makes me feel odd.
nothing terrible just feel odd.

I do a mix of carbs and do 12 carbs per iu.

Is 1.5 hours to late with humalog?
Th longer versions aren't an option.

Your be peaking as you start training so will probably feel even n more odd but your still have a good window for training where insulin is high. I don't like pre workout slin as i prefer to train in a carbles state where I'm much stronger and more aggressive ( in a good way). I've done pre workout with all the fancy sups and pepto pro etc. These days I prfere post workout and just use rice krisbies and whey and start eating my chicken, rice and veg about an hour later. Much better results and much cheaper. Im doing 25 log with half a box of rice krispies post and taking about another 200 g of carbs from rice over next 3 hours. Not getting fat at all. Not sure why people worry about keeping carbs to 10 per iu or less when trying to grow. Need calories from somewhere and only so much protein can be put into muscle and fats not a good choice in slin window so carbs it is.

I cant only do post slin on certain days cause of job schedule.

During a slin cycle ill admit that I do it seven days a week.
I work each body part twice a week.

Maybe if I do slin post for four days a week, and skip three days pre?
maybe even take a lil slin with meals in the morning rather than pre workout
on those days. Those days I get off late.

Of course im not sure of the above
 
I googled around and found that humalog begins reaching it's peak around 75-90 minutes after administration, so as long as you are careful with your carbs up to training, I do not see why this would cause any issues or be ineffective... it seems logical on paper, but the only way to determine if it is an effective strategy in real like is to test it out, evaluate and come to a conclusion and if any adjustments need to made, make them...
 
Two hours is when I feel nothing.
Wish I could do that pre.

The longer version slin has been tricky with me so id prefer
to not chance it.

Im just hoping for the best optimal growth protocol.
Of course I wont be doing any slin till after I get an Igf
test from newly started hgh (month)
 
Why can't you just take some log with you in a cooler and shoot in the car before you enter the gym?

What is it that is holding you back from doing a more traditional pre-workout protocol?

I thought about doing extra shots and might for last few weeks of bulk. 4 days a week is good Imo as your probably hold better insulin sensitivity and get more from the shots you take. I use 4 times but as I say a good 25iu. My carbs are always 250 plus post workout even cutting so they are already built into my diet any way. I Personaly think breakfast is the worst meal to use slin. Yes your more insulin sensitive but in the wrong places. If you do am slin I'd at least do some press up and Mabey 20 minutes fasted cardio first. Get some of that sensitivity away from the belly into the muscles. Jmo, others love am slin. You get big enough and fat gain is much less of an issue anyway as metabolismis so high so I could be splitting hairs hear

IMO its not bad its just not optimal. Log peaks upto 60 mins n it's climbing hard.

IMO you want this to be during your workout as its then got a tail end of 2-3 hours meaning its still working during those first few hours of optimal recovery
 
THIS^... Humulin-R with juice and a solid meal or shake with lots of carbs. Sip on some intraworkout carbs as well.

In guessing because he's training late hence the reason he doesn't want to do post workout. If I remember correctly Humulin is active about a few hours longer than log

Well. Id More likely use slin at second meal.
first meal is at 8:30am (meat/oats) Second is at 10am (whey/carbs/oats shake)
then at 11 and 12 ill have another whey/carbs/oats shake. 1pm is meat and potatoe.

^but idk. Ive only used slin post and pre workout.
Prework out caused me issues. Felt too full and wanted to puke.
 
I like pre and post


I take 5 units pre workout 5 mins before training

Train with intra workout pepto pro and highly branched cyclic dextrins

And then 10 units post workout

10 minutes later Post workout meal
Pineapple
75 grams of carbs from white rice
10 oz beef
