Humulin R vs Novolin R any different?

Just curious for you guys who used both, did you notice any difference between them ? One thing that is different between them is price , with humulin R being almost double the cost of novolin R, wondering if there is any reason for the price difference except different names and if the price difference is worth it

Thank you luki for reply , they are both the same as far as availability, but cost like I said , humulin R is almost double the price

I have used both noticed no difference. I believe back in the day when I researched one is sold at Walmart and cheaper.

Haven't bought R in years. But Walmart used to have contracts with Lilly and Novo for $25 Reli on branded price tag. Not both but one brand at a time 10 ml vials and pens but more expensive for them.

R is R. Humulin R, Novolin R.

Then you have rapid like Humalog, Novolog (NovoRapid outside of US).

Then you have Intermediate (N), Long (Lantus, etc.), and Combo (70/30 etc)

So, everyone doesn’t run a preference between Humalog/Novolog versus Humulin R/Novolin R due to onset, half life, etc.??

You can buy Humulin R and Novolin R at pharmacy in Florida, no script, but not Humalog or Novolog.

It’s all the same bro, I’m a type1 diabetic, have been for more than 15 years, multiple insulin injections ED and have used several different brands of rapid acting and long lasting insulin. You’re never going to know the difference.
