HURRICANE ASSISTANCE HELP

Hey guys Im stuck in San Antonio and I cant get back home. We dont have electricity in our town and I have been unable to work since being out here. I am running low on my cash for food and gas and I am wondering if any of you guys know how to deal with getting the govt assistance (FEMA, REDCROSS, etc). The problem is I am not a homeowner and my family is evacuated to Arkansas and I am here with my girlfriend. There has got to be a way to get hooked up with some money for my food at least until I can get home and pick up my check. ANybody have any ideas or can point me in the right direction???

the redcross will feed you, they will not give you money.

I'm at a loss. I went through Gustav and Katrina and there was more aid readily available during Katrina for just this type of thing no matter what you heard.
