Does anyone have any experience in dealing with this? A friend's husband is suffering from it, and they're getting conflicting info from doctors. The condition causes your Vitamin D to be extremely low and your body sucks calcium from your bones at a dangerous rate. This person is in the sun a lot yet has very low Vitamin D, and the calcium situation has resulted in very porous and fragile bones. One doc says supplement with Vit D while another says that'll increase the rate at which calcium is taken(?) from your bones. I suggested he consider Farmer's Walks to stress/strengthen his bones, but he's fatigued all the time.
If you know of anyone that dealt with this, what protocol (diet, supplement, exercise, etc) did they do that hopefully resulted in a positive result or at least the postponing of a negative one?
