The way his legs are. Bodybuilding has been trying to go more and more mainstream and having the best guy in the world with legs that look so bad would be bad for the sport.
I personally don’t think he will win but he has the chance to in the future. Being so young he should take the time off to get it fixed.

Varicose veins is what they look like. It is supposedly fixable; so no reason he shouldn’t do it ASAP.

While I don't like his blocky midsection and I think his coaching is crap, there are a couple things about his physique that are pretty awesome. Overall thickness, conditioning, back double bicep, biceps in general, and everything about his lower body, even those calves. The veins actually look pretty sick.

I had a couple of varicose veins fixed. It is actually quite painless and takes about 30 minutes. They basically inject something to collapse them. You see a dark streak initially, and after a few weeks to month, disappears. Your legs look 100% better. Stops swelling too.

Nick is huge....Hadi is huge with much better shape and taper, Nick compares better with Bonac, if he can't beat Bonac then he will NEVER best Hadi.

BB is not trying (too hard) to be mainstream IMO. Look at Big Ramy winning last year, biggest freak gets the prize.
Nick won the Arnold, which many consider just as important of a show (maybe even bigger) than the Olympia. (Especially since those clowns owned it for many years (David Pecker, etc).
Hopefully Jake does something good with it...

Its not bad for the "Sport", actually its not a sport, but a pageant. Training isnt a sport. Strutting in Trunks isnt sport.
All the folks dying lately is bad for BB, and the drug use, not varicose veins...

A competition maybe, or pageant. Missy (Fitness) now thats "sport". Most open guys cant walk up a flight of stairs w/out being out of breath.

They judge folks with missing body-parts (calves, etc) higher than others (Like Iain / Steve). Its a yearly freak-show where they keep moving the uprights.

I don't think anyone has to worry about Nick being the best guy in the world (Mr. O). He's a top guy but never going to win the O unless several top guys decided not compete or got injured which isn't likely.
