So I entered a plank challenge. I had never planked before and the record was 5+min. I held for 6:33. John Q Yoga comes up and does 7:48, I load up on about 10gr of creatine and hold for 8:29... yesterday he comes in and smokes me @10:32. I doubt there's any other supp out there that would help, but any other tips on how to improve time besides core work?

If all else fails - I'll just go right before the contest ends and try to go for 10:33. :D
 
What is a "plank Challenge"?

how long you can stay in a plank position. Like a pushup stance, but on your forearms instead of hands.

take some laxatives, that way you will have no choice but stay in the position or shit everywhere.;)

You could always use Sodium BiCarbonate

That will help with the lactic acid....... But it might also make you crap yourself :D
 
Beta alanine

This has actually been in my pre-wo cocktail for awhile now, but not at a high dosage. I picked some up for $12 and loaded it till today for the last day of the challenge.

I wasn't even able to beat my old time. :(

Next months challenge is how far you can row in 5min.

I think it's just time to get back to moving heavy weight. :cool:
