I don't have any professional research on this topic, but its a logical conclusion that if norovirus, which is a main cause of gastrointestinal distress, is spread by food handlers not washing their hands after taking a dump it could also be spread directly by mouth to ass just as easily. Its a nasty persistent virus group.

ATM consequences can go on indefinately. Once the "bug" colonizes it's in there, even if it's just to lie dormaint untill you're weak enough for it to resurface. Don't know what your partner(s) hx is. Maybe C-Diff, or MRSA, or VRE and the list goes on. Having the squirts for any length of time should not be acceptable. I would not be worrying about gains or athletic aspirations. Get your shit in check (no pun intended). Change your diet, get off the whey and the powder drinks. Take a more conventional diet, just for a month or so and see what happens. As funny as this thread is, people die from diarrhea. you become electrolyte depleted and arrest. Sports drinks are no solution. IV fluids, yes helps the dehydration but not the Herseys. maybe get another doc with a fresh approach. Next attack you have, get a FRESH sample and take it to the lab.

That does not mean that they will test positive for celiacs, or IBS but just have a general intolerance. Probiotics will help but why don't you try limiting your exposure to food with gluten and corn for a while and see if it helps.
