I want to compete again

So I want to compete again. THe last time I competed was 2010 at the USA's and I did not place top 10, but I was prepping for the NY state in 2012 in order to qualify for the Nationals that year and I was looking better than ever and would likely have made top 5 based on the field I was going up against. A variety of circumstances way beyond my control (superstorm sandy) and others prevented me from competing and I have not been able to attempt it since then. Here's my question, I am on high therapeutic levels of Depakote for siezure control and I wonder if I would even be able to dry out enough regardless of how lean I can get. I've dieted and leaned out on depakote in the past but my epileptologist has me taking more now and i wonder if it might obscure my physique significantly on stage. I've never dealt with this question before so if there is anyone here that has ever dieted or competed while using depakote what were your experiences. Just looking for some feedback guys. THanks
