Just wondering what the ideal amount of protein per lb of bodyweight would be to bulk on. I've heard ranges from 1.5-2gs per pound. For example I weight 215. I've been shooting for 360 grams of protein a day. Would you say that's sufficient or should I take in even more?
 
Many factors are involved. Quality of the protein, quality of your genetics, and the quality of your gear. 1g/lb works well for me to maintain and 1.5g/lb to bulk. For others 1.5/2 might work better. Just start low and gauge your progress...
 
It also depends on what your carb and fat intake is.
 
I like 1 to 1.5, usually around 1.2 for me. The less protein you can eat the more carbs you can eat, as Aceto likes to say, carbs are anabolic.
 
If you eat a lot of carbs you dont need nearly as much protein , this is a plus becuse it cheaper and is easier on your kidneys.

Personally for me I stay leaner and still gain buy addding fats , this helps me buy staying leaner and the meals are a little smaller in size
 
I Carb cycle because I find if I eat too many too long they do me more harm then good but I was thinking 400grams of protein 300-350 grams of carbs and 70-80 grams of fat. If I start feeling too like I'm gaining too much fat then swap the carbs to like 200-250 and up the fat to make up the Cal difference
 
If this helps Im going to be runing 750mg test 600mg npp, 600mg eq was thinking of adding in. A dbol kick but I think that's a little over kill

Depends on many factors brother. Not to mention your genetics play a good role:D

Gunsmith, what macro nutrient ratio do you typically use and would you mind sharing an example of your daily diet plan?
 
1 to 1.5 works for me in my meal plan
 
Usually just aim for ~200g. Never noticed any more results going over that... Plus tren is an amazing at making your body use protein efficiently.
 
Is there such a thing as too much protein?

more protein than you need must be processed by the kidneys, which isn't too much of a problem if you stay hydrated, however it IS extra kidney stress
