if you donated a kidney or piece of liver , how much would it effect you?

would your muscle gains be limited or slowed down or not have any effect on you at all. im sure you would have to drink 2x as much water to keep that 1 kidney flush vs keeeping 2 flush.

for some of you guys that bodybuilding is your life and paassion would you donate a kidney or pice of liver to a certain loved one?

I have a friend at the gym who recently lost a kidney to cancer. He can no longer eat much protein and has been told to give up on muscle building.

He is 66 btw, but in great shape.

If it's someone who is a relative or someone you care about, then of course.

I bet you would get much more satisfaction knowing that you saved someone's life than from building muscle.

i now for a fact cuz he has been training my workout partner for over a year now.and is currently getting him ready for nationals.DON LONG has been on dialis cuz he lost both of his kidneys and his lovely wonderfull wife just donated one of hers to him about 3 month ago and both r doing great.GOD bless you sara for the great love she has for him for doing that sacrifise

oh and when me and my workout partner competed in the tampa bay classic last year he stayed with us in the hotel cuz he was my partners trainer and when i was introduce to him i was stuned on how huge is was for being on dialis and i mean huge not big huge mofo

It would effect you alot, you would live the rest of your life knowing you did one of the most selfless things possible, it would give your life more of a sense of meaning.

If you're planning on donating a kidney you better give up using AAS! (assuming you use AAS) Also, you would have to be worked up and tissue typed to make sure you qualify and are a perfect match (this may have already been done?)
FYI, some organ donors wind up with more complications/pain and a longer recovery than the recipient!
But if you do choose to donate a kidney...that's a beautiful life-saving gift!!!
