Beginners. Im not encouraging you but.. I just wanted to share that.. Ive included beer back into my diet and prep and have had great results in the past.
Sounds stupid as hell but.... seriously.. I got in the best shape of my life 2 years in a row and actually nailed it at 3 of 4 big shows those years , all the while drinking 2-3 light beers a day. Only 100 calories a piece and zero carbs, light beer is not as bad as you may think.
For me, it was a big part of rewarding myself after a long day of work, kids, training, cardio and many other responsibilities. Lets face it, we all live for rewards, so dont bust your balls too hard all the time.
Personally, I love downing a few after cardio or at night before bed. I even included it in my prep all the way up to the last weeks before the show. I was looking at this pic and felt that my condition surely didnt suffer..
