If you train 2x Day with weights: What does your split look like?

To those that train 2x day with weights, what does your split look like? How far apart are your workouts?

Do you think it helped or hurt your progress?

Just looking for general feedback. I’ve got some time off coming up and am contemplating trying this.

I know Milos trains his guys this way.
 
I think this can work if u have nothing else to really do but train and bodybuild. Im sure everyone has worked out twice in day but I for one never did this as a weekly daily thing. I would think 2 whole meals in between workouts and a nap would be ideal

I did this when I was in my early twenties, going to collage.

I would train before leaving for school and then during my lunch hour I just bench pressed if memory serves. I do know I set a PR doing that. Then I went to work at a sheet metal shop, swing shift.

This was 3x or week, maybe 2 at a minimum. Did this for a year or two when I was living at home; three hots and a cot, mommy doing all my meal prep 🙂

Anything more ‘sophisticated’ I have never tried.
 
I did this ten years ago ,getting ready for a competition. I'd split workouts generally six to eight hours apart. Back then I wasn't concerned about money like I am now.

I did it not too long ago, think I split it within a few hours. Was smaller body parts.

I work a lot now and by the time I get off I sometimes have to nap , or do something for a mental pep me up, to get into the gym. If I do train twice a day it's almost always on a off job I feel I have to do for money, so i can live a better life.
 
Never did weights twice in one day. I don’t think I ever would cause I’m not a morning person at all. I’ve tried lifting weights in the early mornings and always felt sluggish & weak. I’ve always been a late afternoon workout guy.

Curious to see what others have tried and how they structured things. Also curious if they made better progress this way too. Calories would definitely need to increase to help fuel things.
