RIP
I train at the Golds that Frank trained at and saw him everyday, very nice guy!!! I had just trained that morning with my wife and Jeannie Papparone......Frank had a pre-exsisting heart condition, cholesterol was high 300's and failed to go do a stress test last month that was ordered by his Dr.
RIP Frank
My dad was just 46 when he had a "small" heart attack... He is 64 now and his heart health is very good! This is sad indeed but if a stress test was ordered there had to be some reason probably... Sad indeed!
I hope nobody that visits this site often would ever ignore a doctor's order to have a stress test or any kind of cardiac test. We have seen enough problems with just the members on here alone to give someone caution concerning heart health. There is no telling how Frank would be doing now if he had gone in for that test.
Very true!!! I am planning on having a stress test next year and have already spoke with my doc about it due to my family history. My dad smoked, ate Mcdonalds and was stressed all the time when he had his heart attack at 46. His cholesterol and trigylcerides were off the chart high also. I think stress had a lot to do with his health. Smoking+McDonalds+High Stress = MI!!!!!
