I have read a lot of information about IGF-1 and cell growth but was wondering if it would cause any connective tissue growth. Could it help with tendonitis, partially torn tendons or ligaments or meniscus/cartilidge tears? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Tundra.

I understand it can accelerate functional recovery of tendons etc, the details of how exactly would take a week to list and to understand and I really do not even understand them fully.

Through experience they help heal injuries, but rest/recovery of these areas and rehabilitation are very important, probably more, along with functional nutrition for specific injury ie key minerals to get the body an abundance of what that tissue type needs.

hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the reply. Could you list protocol of experience with it? If not I understand. I seem to have joint problems and have done a lot of research on HGH and regeneration and was just wondering if IGF-1 has some of the same properties.

I have also heard of about 10 different ways to take IGF too. Just trying to find what the majority concensus is? Thanks for your help.

Problems with ligaments caused by cross linked proteins. To achieve any changes in ligaments you have to broke crosslinks and activate system of fibrinolitic enzymes to clear space for new cells. In this case IGF can help, but IGF does not have any effect on fibrinolitic enzymes and it cant remove crosslinks too.

Aspirin can prevent formation of new crosslinked proteins in ligaments.
