IGF-1 Levels While on HGH; Is This Normal?

My buddy just had a bunch of blood work done during the last week of his cycle. He faxed me a copy of the results tonight and I see that his IGF-1 levels are 202ng/ml and the normal range is listed as 112-296. He is currently taking 1.5 IU blue top unlabeled generic HGH twice daily(before bed and upon awakening in the morning); total 3IU per day. Does anybody know why the IGF-1 level would be that low while on 3IU HGH a day? I know the level is well into the normal range but I would think it would be well above the normal range unless the stuff is bunk; which I am praying is not the case. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also, he is in his upper 30's.

When I was 45(3 years ago) my IGF was 99. If he is in his upper 30's, then 202 is actually healthy, why would you want more than the normal range?

Thanks for the input; I guess I just figured that with 3IU per day you would have higher than normal levels. Sort of like if you were taking 500mg Test per week your free and total test levels would be way out of the normal range or at least quite a bit above. Just want to make sure this is not out of the ordinary because if his HGH is bunk than that puts me in a bad situation as well(as well as many others).

The older you get, and depending on stress levels and other factors, your levels will be at the lower end. I never go out of normal ranges with my age of 48. My GH levels are 0.1ng/ml, test 125-375ng/ml, DHEA 100-125ng/ml (this is my levels b-4 any HRT) So any AAS and GH will keep me in optimun range. Have his levels checked when he is completely clean.

Aromasin and Dostinex I believe.

Because nolvadex will knock your IGF levels into the ground.

Also realize that the spike in IGF-1 levels will be temporary.

The best way to test HGH for legitness by measuring IGF-1 levels would be 30 minutes to at most an hour after administration.

Are you sure? I thought igf-1 levels were more stable than that and that they take up to a day to peak after a shot.
