IGF causing misshaped bicep?

This past summer I did a 5 week run of IGF. I did it in the bi's and tri's using Grunt's protocol. A couple weeks before i finished I noticed a weird dent in my bicep. It is very pronounced when the arm is in a slouched position (like the pic below), and also very noticeable when the arm is pumped. The bicep looks normal and then there is a indenture right along the main vein through the bicep, then it goes normal again. I thought it would go away after the IGF was over, but it is still present. This looks pretty bad when it is very visible, and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this happening, and what the deal may be? I posted a pic attatched. It looks a bit worse than this sometimes. Thanks for your help guys.

Looks more like a tear to me. Did you have any bruising, pain, or redness?

there is a slight darker coloration around the spot, very vague though. Nothing like a dark bruise like you see with most tears, and no bruising back when it happened. No pain or anything in the area either that i can recall. If it is a tear, would I need to stop training bis and rest it until it comes around?

Typically, every tear I have seen, had to be surgically repaired. You can have a tear where the muscle detaches from the bone and it will roll up, or it can tear in the middle of the muscle belly, and if I am looking at your pic correctly, that is what looks like happened to you. I'd def. get it checked out for sure because scar tissue can build up if you let it go for too long.

alright thanks a lot man. I will get it looked at for sure. Unfortunately I cant get it looked at for another month or two since I'm away at school, so hopefully itll be ok. Should I take it easy on training that body part, or does that even matter at this point? If anyone else has any opinions lemme know

When my bi's are pumed and I have my palms facing away from me I too have that same thing in the same spot. If you pay close attention to pros they have it too. It's normal

i thought it was normal too, but then when my arm is in a normal position, there are times (especially when its pumped) that there is a very noticeable dent. Thats what really made me think something was wrong. I am glad to hear you say this kind of thing is normal. I think i'll still get it checked out when I can in a couple months just to be sure.

Mine is yeally only noticible on my left arm. Even the vien dips in in that spot. Do't worry about it.

Maybe getting leaner is not for you. You may start to notice more dimples and stuff like that.

Both of my Bi's do that. The brachialis sits just deep of the bicep, and the brachioradialisis is more distal, but they all do a lot of overlapping in that area. Hence the ridge.

well i competed last april, and that kind of a dimple was not present whatsoever, but now it is very large. Thanks for your feedback all. Much appreciated. If anyone else has any opinions please chime in.

i know someone that had a major nerve problem in his quad from igf and he couldnt contract it for some time.

Is that your arm? i don't care what anyone says that is not normal. you should go to the doctor and get that checked out asap. its either a tear or that igf ate a whole in your bicep...... either way go get it looked at.

tears vary.. i have torn a muscle or two in my day ;) and you know when it happens.. if that is not the case, then has the bicep, in your opinion, grown much withthe igf protocol.. igf will not or should not cause damage to the muscle unless you are just seeing scar tissue from constant inject (but, if using slin needles should not be a issue).. the reasoni ask about any new found growth is because what we may be seeing is the actual muscle shape coming to light because of the new growth.. and by the way, when in a slouched position my arm does the same thing..:D

Ya the slouched position is not what im worried about, its that when my arm is sraaight when im standing up it is pretty visibile. I just didnt take a picture of it in that position, because it is much more visible when the muscle is pumped. I finished the IGF about mid-december, so Id say right now its probably too early to see much growth from it. This also appeared midway through the IGF run.

Sometimes when you inject you can hit a nerve, which will keep a part of a muscle from being able to fully contract for a day or so. This may be it. I did a pec injection the other day and it was like my upper pecs just disconnected for 24 hours.

just a random thought, did you mayou were diluting the AA properly? its pretty strong stuff and if it wad not diluted enough it can kill muscle cells. if it killed enough and the others kept growing it could cause a dent.
