IGF Measurements

Hi there everyone, quick question regarding measuring proper doses of IGF.

I've seen people say they are doing 50 mcg etc..for dosing.

assuming the vial is a 2mg one and we dilute with 2ml of BW we are still only filling up half was to the first number on a slin pin. This seems like an awful small amount to be putting in a 1cc pin.

Is there a smaller pin thats thinner that is made that makes measuring this easier?

Your using a 100iu insulin syringe? And you have 2mg now mixed with 2ml solution?

so 5 iu would be 50 mcg correct?

Yes they make smaller syringes with more exact markers on them.

Yeah its a 100iu syringe. I just ordered 5/10 cc syringes which I think should be more accurate.

you can get 30IU insulin pins, alot more accurate

that was the thinkg it just seemed like half of a 50mcg shot would be left in the needle once I was finished...lol

No worries though. Problem solved.
