So I'm out of state right now, out west handling some family issues. I left my dog and the last 2 pups with my mom to watch them. She fucking lost them today!!! The adult female finally came back after off running through the countryside for about 6 hours. There's no sign of the 2 pups I guess. It sucks cause there no quite 4 months old and never get out of the yard when I'm around, so they won't find there way back without some help. There's nothing I can do from out here either. The last male was to be picked up tomorrow when I return and now I can't see that happening. This shit sucks. The one I was keeping died around 11 weeks while I was at work, he choked on some wood chips, a piece of a plastic bag and some foam from his bed. I don't know how he got the foam or bag, but that about ruined it for me. And now these 2 can't be found. I'm going nuts here. Shit pisses me off. Now I have to take the pets with me everytime I go somewhere. I usually do when I drive but I had to fly this time. Had to vent.

can you take the adult female out with you on a walk??? i dunno if that would help you look for them.

dont dogs have that instinct that guides them back home... like if you drop them off somewhere they've never been, they can still find home...

think i remember a story of a family losing dogs on vacation and the dogs wandered through a few states and came home a few weeks later.....

i just happen to love my dogs and i know how it hurts to loose one.i use to have pitbulls and had to put her to sleep because in miami they are ilegale (i know i misspelled that)and my neighbors son worked for the animale pawned and rold on me.so my options where move out of town or we take her and put her to sleep not to mention the $500 fine they gave me.well moving was not a option at the time soooo.broke my fucking heart like they took one of my kids and for no resone.now i have 2 american bull dogs but they are still in miami with my inlaws i moved to the west coast and where i rent now no dogs allowed.looking to move where i can have them here with me im going crazy with out them.so i feel you amargedon.those pups must be going crazy looking for her mom.danm i think im gonna cry fuck me.

Armageddan- try to keep thinking positive- I know it's hard but I had a dog that got out two times and both times animal control picked him up, but I was out of my mind for 24 hours or so.

Like someone suggested, maybe your Mom can walk the Adult around and the scent would go to the pups...

I am so scared when I leave my dog to be cared for by someone- I feel for you bro.

They are about the only family I have beside my gf. These guys keep me going and yes, they never leave my side. I sincerely hope that you can find them!! we left our dog at the in laws house about a year ago and when the mail man came the dog got out but no one noticed. About five minute after he left there was a knock at the door, it was the mail man again, holding my dog. He said " is this your dog, he was following me down the street." When I got there to pick up my dog I heard that story and I hit the roof. Why is it nobody cares about anything but themselves. If that would have been there dog I garantee someone would have noticed a tiny little dog outside immediatly.

Alright enough about me, bro I feel your pain. Keep us posted on everything. This is a subject we can all relate to in one way or another.

Hey bro I am so sorry to hear this. I think as mentioned before your mom should take the female for a walk and see if she can find them. Your other option is to call the local animal shelters.

This post is actually hitting me in a bad spot. As some of you may know I posted a couple of weeks ago, That our 3.5 year old Pitbull has lymphoma and is going through chemotherapy. Which is going well so far.

I don't know which is worse a lost dog or what we are dealing with. Both are just horrible situations. Good luck Armageddon, I hope everything works out.

And pimpman, What the hell is wrong with Miami??? You must have a bunch of idiots on the city govenment. They blame the dogs and not the fucking irresponsible owners. They need to take the owners of the "problem dogs" and put them to sleep. That way we will have a lot less idiots to deal with.

Dogs have a good nose on them. Taking the female out may just be the trick. The pupps will smell her in the air and head over that way. Also calling out for the pupps is good too. They don't recognise their names or anything but react to human voices and curiosty. And this may be enough to get them to come over and investigate.

Also dogs mark their territory for 2 reasons. One for property rights. And two it's the way they find their way back home. Take any dog for a ride in a car and let him out on some property he has never seen before. You will see how many times he marks various places with his pee.

When lost they simply follow their pee tracks back home.

What a shame bra! Worest part about it is if someone sees the pups walking around there is a good chance they are going to pick them up keep them. Hope that doesn't happen but if it does I hope they go to a great home.

One was found last night a few miles from my house. She came out of the woods into a clearing that lead right into someones yard. Then today when I woke up someone called about my male. But that was 4 hours ago and I can't get no one to answer the phone. I hope I can get him back soon as well. They got hingup in the woods and took them awhile to find there wayout. Hey bro....... i wish you the best of luck! Dogs are part of your family and it can be rough when loosing one!!! Keep in mind it is a dark world out there and many people will take your dog in and think nothing of it! contact all local Vets and even offer a reward! I just had one of my Cane Corso Pups stolen last week out of my car! I offered a $ 1000.00 reward...and even after doing so i will probably never see her again!
