i'm late 40's and would love to compete again but to me it would be just taking years off my life. nothing healthy about stage ready physique at all. love the process though

Thanks for posting these.
I competed for the last time in November 2019, a week before I turned 50.

It's tempting to get back onstage, but I know I cannot help but push myself too far and too hard to be safe at this age.
Anyone who can do it and keep their health should by all means though.

Show those young guys that us old dudes still got it; hell I beat 20-somethings in the last two years when I came back!

The people who are solely concerned with SIZE are usually the ones that fall to health problems. Taking just enough gear to maintain muscle (500mg test/wk for most) and diet your ass off and your health should be just fine, hell the more weight you lose MOST of your health markers SHOULD improve. Yes getting ultra lean with plummet your testosterone BUT then again thats where the 500mg comes in (dosage for intermediate bodybuilder).

Just my opinion
