Getting back to the fish oil and prostate. My doctor told me to switch from omega 3 to fish oil because it can cause prostate issues. Just what I was told, not sure if there is any truth to that but it came from a reputable doc.
I have 3 weeks to clean up my blood work. Nothing hormone related, strictly lipids and such.
I'll add a Multivitamin, cardio, fruits and veggies, fish oil and coconut oil.
Anything else that’ll help? It's for a life insurance policy rider.
Your lipid profile is a reflection of your eating habits in the previous 2-3 months, 3 weeks of healthy eating isn't going to change this much. You may get your HDL up a little bit but your LDL if high will stay so. There are certain studies out there that quote fasting is effective at lowering it, but it would take 4-5 days + of fasting for the body to get rid of enough to make a difference.
